Terms of Service

These terms are a placeholder for beta testing purposes. They are not legally verified and should not be relied upon as a binding legal agreement. A qualified attorney will review and finalize these terms before TreatPath is made generally available.

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using TreatPath software or accessing gettreatpath.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use TreatPath.

2. Description of service

TreatPath is a desktop software application that assists dental practices in presenting treatment plans to patients. The software includes AI-powered OCR, behavioral presentation profiles, iPad patient view, and a staff dashboard.

3. Subscription and billing

TreatPath is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing you agree to pay the applicable fees for your selected plan. Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time and retain access through the end of your current billing period.

TreatPath stores patient data locally on your office computer. You are responsible for the security of data stored on your systems and for compliance with applicable data protection laws including HIPAA. TreatPath does not access, store, or transmit patient data to its servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. AI services

TreatPath uses Anthropic's Claude API for OCR processing. By using TreatPath's screen capture feature you acknowledge that screenshot images are transmitted to Anthropic for processing. You are responsible for ensuring this use is consistent with your practice's data handling policies.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

TreatPath is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated procedure translations will be 100% accurate. Staff should review all AI-generated content before presenting to patients.

8. Limitation of liability

TreatPath's liability to you for any cause whatsoever shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the software in the 12 months preceding the claim. TreatPath is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the software.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination your license to use TreatPath ends. All locally stored data remains on your computer and is not affected by termination.
